Is one of the constituent departments of the Jitegemee Secondary. The department has good reputation as a leading and exams centre also it conducting researches.
The Department of Plants and Animals Sciences. Our Department is endowed with staff from both Botany and Zoology fields of Life Sciences. also it has Labs for conduction practicals and researches.
The mission of the department is to accumulate, impart and exchange knowledge in the field of Economics through research and publications, teaching, learning and make sure students pass their Exams.
The vision of the Department is to be an exemplary department that delivers high quality teaching, and research in connection with the Swahili Language and Linguistics.

Department is full of expert in this subject to meet the needs of all O-level and Advanced level students. and help student to apply the principles of the subject not only on their Exams but in their daily life.
